During the COVID-19 pandemic, Flo Popp co-founded CrewCall with Marvin Amstädter, Tex van Buren (Drumtex), Casi Will and Markus Wilmsmann.
The initiative was created to connect event professionals, share knowledge and strengthen solidarity across the industry.

Protecting the oceans is a personal conviction for Flo Popp.
After Captain Paul Watson and Sea Shepherd Global separated, he continued supporting Captain Paul Watson through the Captain Paul Watson Foundation e.V.
Since June 2025, Flo Popp has been involved as a Captain Paul Watson Foundation Artist and Head of Road Crews for the Captain Paul Watson Foundation. He draws on his international production experience to support events, projects and connections within the events industry.
