Privacy information for flight-event.com and the STAGELAW app

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit flight-event.com, contact us or use STAGELAW. The website and app are provided by the same controller. Their respective processing activities are described separately below.

1. Controller

FLIGHT Event | Entertainment Production
Florian Popp
Eichenplatz 11
91088 Bubenreuth
Germany

Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

2. Visiting flight-event.com

When you access the website, your browser sends technically necessary connection data to the web server. This may include your IP address, date and time of access, page or file requested, data volume transferred, referring URL, browser type, operating system and access status. Processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its stability and security, and identify technical errors.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Server logs are retained only as long as required for operation, security and error analysis, then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or specific security incidents require further storage.

3. Hosting and email services

The website and email services are hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4–6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany. Mittwald processes data required for hosting, delivery, security, error analysis and email provision as a technical service provider on behalf of Flight Event. This may include the connection data described in section 2 and technical email logs. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where Mittwald acts as a processor, an agreement under Article 28 GDPR. Further information is available in Mittwald’s privacy policy.

4. Cookies, consent management and external content

flight-event.com currently uses no analytics or marketing services, no tracking SDKs and no advertising cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies: The website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation, in particular a session cookie set by the Joomla content management system (security and session handling) and, where applicable, a cookie that stores your chosen language. The legal basis for storing information on your device is Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG; the related processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and user-friendly provision of the website.

Consent management (cookie banner): On your first visit we display a notice that lets you accept or reject optional services. Your choice is stored on your device in the cookie “yootheme_consent”, together with a randomly generated identifier and the time of your decision. The cookie currently expires after 30 days, after which we ask again. The consent manager is part of the YOOtheme Pro website template and runs on our own server; no data is transferred to YOOtheme. The legal basis is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG and Article 6(1)(c) in conjunction with Article 7(1) GDPR (record of consent).

OpenStreetMap: Where maps are embedded on the website, we use OpenStreetMap provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. Maps are only loaded once you have consented in the “Preferences” category; until then only a placeholder is shown and no connection to OpenStreetMap is established. When a map loads, your IP address and technical connection data in particular are transmitted to OpenStreetMap servers. The European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom. The legal basis is your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. More information: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Withdrawal and changes: You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future or change your selection via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

Fonts and the files needed to display the website are currently served from our own web server. Simply loading a page therefore does not establish a connection to an external font provider.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, including your email address, message and any name, telephone number or other details you supply voluntarily. We use this information to handle and respond to your enquiry.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns entering into or performing a contract. In other cases, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in handling the enquiry appropriately. Communications are deleted once the enquiry is resolved, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons require further storage.

6. Data processing in STAGELAW

STAGELAW stores the settings needed for its use exclusively on your device. These include:

  • onboarding completion status;
  • selected professional activity;
  • selected language;
  • default German federal state;
  • saved favourites; and
  • recently opened content.

These settings retain your preferences, provide relevant content and make favourites and recent items available locally. Local storage is necessary for the app functions you expressly request, pursuant to Section 25(2)(2) of the German TDDDG. Flight Event has no access to these exclusively local settings.

7. No accounts, cloud synchronisation or tracking in STAGELAW

STAGELAW requires no registration, maintains no user accounts and offers no cloud synchronisation. It uses no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs, or push notifications.

8. External legal sources in STAGELAW

Links to external legal sources open in the device’s system browser. The privacy policy of the destination website and your browser settings then apply. The respective website provider is responsible for processing on that website.

9. Retention and deletion in STAGELAW

Locally stored app data remains on the device until removed. You can delete it by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

10. Recipients and transfers

Website data may be processed by technical providers used for hosting, maintenance or email services. Data is shared only where necessary to provide the service, fulfil a legal obligation or on another applicable legal basis. STAGELAW does not transfer the local settings described in section 6 to a user account or cloud synchronisation service.

11. Your data protection rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. For non-public organisations based in Bavaria, the relevant authority is in particular the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. Information and its complaint form are available on the BayLDA website. To exercise your rights or ask about data protection, email This email address is being protected from spambots. 12. Updates to this policy

This policy is updated when website or app functions, or the technical services used, change.
