THE BEGINNING

Flo Popp gained his first experience in professional events at the age of twelve. His first touring productions followed at fourteen, with major international productions and a European tour with a British rock band at sixteen. These early experiences laid the foundations for his international career.

Since founding Flight Event | Entertainment Production in 2002, Flo Popp has developed lighting and production concepts for tours, festivals, television and corporate events. Today, he combines creative lighting design, technical knowledge and leadership in his approach to international productions.

The Story Behind the Productions

For more than 25 years, Flo Popp has supported national and international live productions. His career connects creative lighting design, technical expertise, business experience and leadership, from hands-on stage work to overall production responsibility. He is also a health and safety coordinator (SiGeKo) under the German Construction Site Ordinance (Baustellenverordnung), qualified in accordance with RAB 30, Annexes B and C, and a certified contractor coordinator – both certificates issued by ExpertMe, for construction sites, industry and commerce as well as events.

Flo Popp has worked in the international events industry for more than 25 years. What began with backstage assignments at twelve developed into a career on productions around the world. Today, he combines creative lighting design, technical understanding, business experience and leadership for demanding live productions.

Born on 1 January 1984 in Neustadt an der Aisch, Flo Popp discovered live entertainment early. Professional event work at twelve was followed by touring at fourteen and international productions, including a European tour with a British rock band, at sixteen. His work continues to be shaped by curiosity, professional development and a commitment to careful delivery.
