Stage management on the main stage

On a festival main stage, soundchecks, shows and changeovers follow each other in quick succession. The stage manager keeps everything on stage on track and is the interface between artist productions, touring crews, festival production and technical departments.

Running order and timings
Coordinating schedules for soundchecks, shows and changeovers and keeping them up to date throughout the festival day.

Changeovers
Coordinating changeovers between acts with stagehands, touring crews and technical teams.

Entrances and exits
Coordinating stage access, artist entrances and exits and stage transitions.

Communication
Passing information between festival production, artist productions and technical departments, including at short notice.

Experience from many festival seasons

Flight Event has worked in festival stage management for years – including Greenfield Festival in Interlaken, M’era Luna Festival, Highfield Festival and Metal Hammer Paradise. Experience from different stages and formats goes into every production.
