In short

STAGELAW works without registration, without an account, without cloud sync, without ads and without tracking. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and sends no push notifications. What you enter in the app stays on your device.

Controller

A data protection officer is not required by law and has not been appointed.

Data stored only on your device

The app stores only locally in the device settings: onboarding completion, chosen role, language and default state, favourites, checklists with your own entries and notes, inspection dates you set, notes on sources and recently opened content. We have no access to it. Delete everything by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

PDF export

When you export checklists or notes as PDF, the app creates the file on your device. You decide where to share it via the system share sheet.

Official sources and external links

Links to statutes, ordinances and regulations open in your device’s browser, where the providers’ privacy policies apply.

App Store and Google Play

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google give us aggregated statistics and, if you allow it in your device settings, anonymous crash reports. Should paid features be offered later, payment is handled solely by Apple or Google; we receive no payment data. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Email support

If you write to us, we process your email address and message to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when no longer needed and no retention duty applies.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; ours is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. As we store no personal data on servers, we usually hold no data about you.

Changes

We update this policy when the app or the law changes, in particular before new services such as accounts, sync or crash analytics are added. The version published here applies.
